As the holiday season approaches, we are delighted to introduce a festive and heartwarming event that will surely bring joy and excitement to your child – our Polar Express Holiday Shoppe!

What is the Polar Express Holiday Shoppe? The holiday shoppe will take place December 14 – 20 and is a special experience where your child can select surprise gifts for their loved ones during part of their music class.  Gifts are in the $1 to $5 range and include items such as a necklace for Mom, a mug for Dad and so much more.

How does it work? The PTO is providing budget envelopes for you to help your child fill out with their recipient list and a budget for each person, ensuring a thoughtful and personalized giving experience. We are offering flexibility by providing three options for payment:

•Gift Certificate: Purchase a gift certificate for your child to use at the holiday shoppe online using our new safe and secure payment system “Cheddar Up” at jeffersonelementarypto.com/polar-express-shoppe and include your receipt in the budget envelope.

•Cash or Check: Provide your child with cash or a check to use at the shop within the budget envelope. Checks can be made payable to Jefferson Elementary PTO.

Optional Event: The holiday shoppe is entirely optional. Your child’s participation is based on your consent. We’ve enclosed a permission slip with this letter. Kindly complete and return it with your child’s budget envelope.

Financial Assistance: We understand that the holiday season may bring financial challenges for some families. The Jefferson PTO is ready to offer financial assistance. If needed, please check off the box on the permission slip and return it to school.

Please return your completed envelopes with payment or receipt, along with permission slip, in an envelope labeled “Jefferson PTO Holiday Shoppe” to school with your student.  We encourage you to take a moment to discuss this special event with your child, choose the option that best suits your family, and assist them in filling out the budget envelope for a personalized and joyful experience.

Gift Certificates and Permission Slips must be returned by end of school day on 12/13.
